I saw a news named " Final bulletin" ,around 10: 30 p.m on News 11 which deal with the news related to the state Jharkhand. I was surprised that how can a State level news channel can distort and misrepresent a Supreme Court (case) judgment. The channel presented a news (repeatedly) Regarding a case of Diwan Indranil Sinha. In which they presented - ‌The previous judgment of the Honorable Jharkhand High Court which was accurately dispense by the Channel. ‌But the appellate judgment by the Honorable Supreme Court was misapprehend and not only that badly rebuff by that particular channel. I would like to draw attention on the specific points on which the News 11 Anchor presented the show- Statement-1 "PIL खारिज करने के साथ ही कोर्ट मे 50 हजार का जुर्माना भी लगाया " - The Supreme Court ordered that the "imposing costs of '50 , 000 on the petitioner is deleted." So, Penalty related to this case was deleted by SC. "It was deleted not forgiven." Statement-2 "कोर्ट ने हिदायत दी की भविष्य अगर मामले को फिर से उठाया गया तो कोर्ट की अवहेलना मानाजायेगा" -"The materials that were made available before this Court are "not sufficient" to invoke the jurisdiction of the High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India" "Not sufficient" never means "contempt of court" but Dear News 11, misrepresenting a Supreme Court judgement can be treated as contempt of court. Statement-3 "सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मामले को खारिज करते हुए कहा शिबू सोरेन और हेमंत सोन पर कोई केस नहीं बनता" - As we can see in the above statement it is clear that if there be sufficient documents or facts than there can be a case 'No body is above LAW'. They stated many thing which is not possible to note down in one post. But it is very disheartening that.. Just for the seek of publicity they misrepresented the case and created a political issue out of a social ... Welfare Issue. They fail to remember that DIWAN INDRANIL SINHA was not a politician , he was a Social Activist and contribute a lot for the welfare of the mankind.
